Infant Room

The Infant Program is designed to provide care for infants ages 6 weeks and older. Babies in the program are cared for by welcoming, passionate, and responsible caregivers in a peaceful and happy environment. Their daily needs are addressed and the interaction between the babies and our staff is loving and safe. Our staff converse with the babies about what they see and experience, as well as encourage vocabulary development. Many times throughout the day, the teachers will sing songs, play music, read books, play with the children, and cuddle them, giving individual attention as needed.

Parents are kept fully informed with a daily report that gives feeding times & amounts, diaper changes, nap times, and special activities. The staff strives to have good communication with the parents, addressing concerns, and responding to suggestions.

The Infant room contains cribs, age appropriate toys, bouncers, swings, high chairs, and glider chairs. Each child has a cubby for personal items such as bottles, formula, extra clothes, etc. There is a no shoes policy in the Infant room for your child’s health and safety. Your child’s happiness and comfort is our highest priority as we provide you with a safe and secure environment.

Toddler/One’s Room

In the Toddler/One’s Room the children are introduced to a class routine. The routine is flexible and is adjusted to meet the needs of the toddlers. They begin to eat, sleep, and play at the same time. This schedule allows predictability and a feeling of security among the toddlers. The students are introduced to colors, numbers, shapes, and letters. Children are encouraged to try to use their words to express their needs and wants.

A daily schedule is posted in the Toddler/One’s Room and includes morning activities, free play, regular diaper checks & changes, Circle Time with Bible Stories, books, finger plays, and songs; working on social skills, large motor skills, small group skills, crafts, lunch, naptime, and outside play.
