Parents
Infant Program
The Infant Program is designed to provide care for infants ages 6 weeks and older. Babies in the program are cared for by welcoming, passionate, and responsible caregivers in a peaceful and happy environment. Their daily needs are addressed and the interaction between the babies and our staff is loving and safe.
Toddler/One’s Program
In the Toddler/One’s Room the children are introduced to a class routine. The routine is flexible and is adjusted to meet the needs of the toddlers. They begin to eat, sleep, and play at the same time. This schedule allows predictability and a feeling of security among the toddlers. The students are introduced to colors, numbers, shapes, and letters. Children are encouraged to try to use their words to express their needs and wants.
Two Year Old Program
In the Two Year Old Program, the children begin to become more independent through child-centered and teacher-directed activities throughout the day. The children improve on their self-help skills in the areas of eating, potty training, hand washing, cleaning up independently, putting on their shoes, etc. A daily report is sent home with each child detailing eating, toileting, nap time, and general behavior during the day.
Three Year Old Program
The Three Year Old Program continues the routine of engaging students in circle time activities including calendar, weather, counting, story time, and songs. The classroom teachers lead the children in both small and large group activities, such as movement and music, read-a-loud stories, and art. The children are encouraged to share and communicate with their classmates, making friends along the way.
VPK/Four Year Old Program
VPK stands for the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. If you live in Florida, and your child turns four years of age by September 1, your child is eligible to participate in Florida’s FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) education program. The VPK program prepares children for Kindergarten. The VPK Standards focus on reading, writing, and social skills, with an early language and literacy focus.
